For the working girl who loves ethically made fashion, I have great news to share. You can rule your work day while looking ethically chic!
Take, for example, the Mata Traders’ peplum dress. Just layer it with your favorite cardigan and, voila, you’re work ready!
Mata Traders is a Fair Trade company in Chicago. The company works with women in India to create dresses, skirts, blouses and home decor. Fun fact: Mata means mother in Hindi.
To add a pop of color to the outfit, I wore the playfully bright WorldFinds cuff that’s made from repurposed sari material. The Fair Trade cuff was handmade in a women’s cooperative in India by low-income artisans.
Making an appearance on this fun-filled photoshoot day was my handsome roommate : ).
Now, go take over the world in your ethically made outfit, you working girl!
